I've never wanted someone to win so badly!
Statistically speaking, the wealth gap between the rich and the poor in America always, always shrinks under a Democratic government...

Portraits of Obama Supporters

If you sign up as a volunteer, you won't have to go to the zoo area towards the back, where latecomers snaked around the whole memorial more than once...

"Vote Now"

"What are the conservatives conserving?"

"Yes We Can"

"No third term" "Ask me how many houses I have"

Smiley gangsta

"Time for a Change"

"That One"

"History in the Making"

Show Me Your Vote!
Yard signs

Obama memorabilia, even a cardboard cutout!
A glimpse of the podium
Men in Black everywhere
It was like going through airport security.
Safety is of paramount importance, specially for an outdoor event.
Anything can happen here... remember those Palin's rednecks shouting "kill him"?
Glad to see so many enthusiastic young volunteers.

Hello boys

I saw Obama!
Rally for Change, Kansas City, Liberty Memorial, 2008-10-18

The vibe was very positive, the atmosphere was electrifying but also kinda relaxed.

Yay! Obama entering the Memorial Park.

(have to say GOOD JOB! to my Sony alpha DSLR)

I could tell that he was slightly tired, coming all d way from St Louis that morning. But he did a fine job.

There was definitely a sense that this is history in the making.

You should've seen that miles of cars that clotted the street afterwards... I simply didn't know there can be that many!

Kansas City For Obama
Missouri has always voted for the winner in past Presidential elections. In national polls that exclude newly registered voters, Obama is 5% behind McCain here in MO.
But go for a short drive around Kansas City, you'll find nothing but a sea of HOPE and Change that We Can Believe In.
Missouri for Obama~ YES. WE. CAN.
