Stephen Gately
Feels strange when my generation of popstars starts dying off.
Boyzone used to be one of my "guilty pleasure/cheesy" listening. Their song "No Matter What" has helped me getting through many tight spots in life.
It was a BIG deal when Stephen Gately came out on a newspaper 10 years ago, cos I was coming out too. We're same age as well!
He put out a god awful solo album after that. "New Beginning" or something. Not a fan, but I still bought it for ? solidarity.
RIP Stephen.

It's just so hard to believe how back in 1982, MTV would refuse to put on Michael Jackson's Billy Jean MV just because he's black.
Sad, isn't it.
Now that he's dead (and no longer creepy), we can play his music again...

I had a friend back in Oxford. Smart and funny, but a bit grumpy at times. There're lots of parallels between our paths, yet we had polar opposite ideologies. Don't know if he made it into that French monastery in the end.
I hope he's well.
I hope he's found love :)
